Field Lane Football Club

Team details

Field Lane Football Club are a non-profit making organisation, run by volunteers, for the benefit of young children and young adults, who wish to pursue the sport of competitive football. The club was founded in 1982 by a group of local parents, who recognised the need to organise sporting activities for children in the Field Lane area.

Over a number of years the club has grown considerately, from just two teams, we now have over 25 teams playing in the Derby Mini Soccer League, Burton Junior Football League, Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League and Derby City League. We have Girls and Boys teams from Under 6’s to Senior Level.

In 2010 we were the first club in Derby City to be Awarded FA Charter Standard Community Club Award the pinnacle award of the FA club development pathway, Following several years as a Charter Standard and Development Club.
